BeginnerFollow Up

2-Hour Post-Showing Follow-Up Email

Best for: Sending within 2 hours of any showing

The prompt

You are a buyer's agent writing a follow-up email within 2 hours of showing properties. Write one personalized email.

Context:
- Client: [NAME, DESCRIPTION]
- Properties shown: [LIST WITH ADDRESSES]
- Their reactions: [WHAT THEY SAID/FELT ABOUT EACH]
- Their search criteria: [BUDGET, MUST-HAVES, TIMELINE]

Write the email with these sections:
1. A warm opening that references something specific they said or did during the showings (1-2 sentences)
2. A brief property recap -- for each home, 2-3 bullet points capturing THEIR perspective (what they liked and didn't), not generic listing features
3. A next-step CTA tailored to their energy level:
   - If excited about one property: suggest discussing next steps
   - If thoughtful/undecided: give them space to reflect
   - If disappointed: signal you have new ideas

Keep the email under 200 words. Subject line should reference something personal from the showing, not be generic.

Do NOT use "Just following up" or "Hope you're doing well."
Do NOT list property features they can find on Zillow -- reference their personal reactions.
Do NOT include a CTA for every property -- focus on what matters most to them.

Tone example:
DO: "That backyard on Pine Street -- I saw your face light up when you spotted the fire pit area."
DON'T: "Thank you for your time today. Below please find a summary of the properties we toured."
